Because Blanche Studios is such a new partnership many times we get asked the same curious questions. Which is totally cool and we sure do appreciate all the curiosity about us! We've put together this blog posting and an interview video for our clients and fans to get to know us a little better. Who the heck is behind Blanche Studios? Well, now you will know for sure. We believe in the power of expression. That is the beauty of art,  it doesn't just stop there. The art of being a human is what we love and treasure. Each unique expression of each individual is what builds the character and emotion in our photos. We hope to exude this into our work.

We are always looking to grow as individuals and now business owners. We love to be creatively inspired by the people we meet, build relationships with clients, and grow grow grow! We believe we are a great combo for many reasons, as far as we know most of those who have worked with us can wholeheartedly agree with that statement. 

Where one has weakness, the other has strength, that is one killer partnership. We joke around a lot about us being "second husbands" to each other, but it's a true reality.

How did you guys meet?

We met at a potluck and were drawn to each other right away. The common bond of being immigrants to Canada was the initial connection and shortly after had discover we were both photographers. 

How did you become partners?

We worked together at a part-time job, things weren’t working out there, but it was a blessing in disguise. At one point we were in a meeting room together and realized “What are we doing here?! Lets team up!”

Where did the name come from?

Isabela thought of the company name before we even had our first meeting. Photography is light, white is light, white, white, but white studios wouldn’t work. So lets frenchify it, everything sounds better in French. Blanche Studios.

What do you photograph?

We mainly focus on Lifestyle, Weddings, and Corporate. Lifestyle entails; engagements, maternity, family, new born, portraits.

What makes this a unique combination?

Complementing each other nicely, where one has weakness the other has strength. Nadia draws emotion into the photographs by just going on gut on what looks good. Isabela brings in the technicality of photography, and capturing the image in its best form.  The mix creates a great combo tied up in a bow.

What moves you?

The feeling of love. If it’s a family, it’s the moment when they’re all in love with each other. Capturing emotion is what really moves us.
